We had a spectacular Easter long weekend at Mark's Mackerel Beach house! You won't regret a stay here for one minute. An easy walk along the beach from the wharf, the house is perfectly situated overlooking Pittwater and the Palm Beach lighthouse. You can enjoy the amazing view from the top to the bottom of the house, from the boat shed and of couse from the beach. The deck on the top level is a magical spot for a meal with a retractable awning making it work anytime of the day. The parents retreat downstairs also has a deck complete with two Adirondacks and a day lounge. Or take your book down into the beautiful garden and relax. So many perfect spots for a perfect stay! Beautiful location, absolutely stunning views and outlook. Cute and retro interiors noting bathroom and bedrooms upstairs are a little older. The master suite was deluxe and was modernised. The ferry ride over was such a lovely way to arrive and there was no shortage of things to do at the property or immediate surrounds. Mark is very attentive, responsive and has thought of all the little details to make the experience as hassle free as possible.

Our stay was truly Bliss! An incredible spot and accommodation which had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house was very well equipped and Mark was super helpful, particularly with being able to secure a mooring for us which really topped things off!

We found a slice of Paradise! This house on Mackerel Beach was absolutely superb. Its beach front position, high enough up to capture glorious views yet readily accessible via attractive old stone steps to the sand, a swim or a sit under a natural umbrella of frangipani trees. The house itself was extremely comfortable and everything that we could possibly need was provided. We also enjoyed the fact that the owners had maintained elements of the 60’s decor and the lovely beachy feel about the house. We met the owners who were so friendly and helpful, we felt like they were old friends! While it was not so easy bringing all our food and belongings in by ferry and then wheeling them across the sand to the house, it was just so lovely to have no cars and to just be quietly at the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Bliss” and would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a peaceful holiday in a truly beautiful place.
