The cottage sleeps up to 11 guests in 5 spacious bedrooms, and is one of 3 cottages let at the secluded and beautiful Corrour Estate. The access is over 11 miles long private gravel road!, or by train (Corrour train station is 4.5 miles walk from the cottage). Canoes, boats, fishing, sauna, clay shooting available on site. A warm welcome awaits all guests staying in any our three holiday cottages. Our houses are located in the most picturesque setting, are fitted with quality furniture and have well equipped kitchens - all you need to immerse yourself in the wilderness, yet staying in comfort! Corrie Odhar features: Downstairs: entry porch, hallway, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower; living room with wood burning stove, well equipped L-shaped kitchen/diner with French door leading to back decking (there is a 5 hob and 3 oven cooker, tall fridge-freezer, smaller fridge, dishwasher, enough equipment to cater for up to 12-14); utility room with washing machine, airing rails, extra fridge/freezer & back door exit. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with superking-size beds, 1 bedroom bedroom with 3 single beds; 2 family bathrooms ( baths with showers over). At Corrour we are committed to the highest standards of environmental stewardship - all our buildings are powered by our on-site produced hydro electricity. They are very cosy with plenty of hot water. We only use carefully-selected cleaning products and stock our cottages with environmentally-friendly washing-up liquid and natural linen tea towels. Guests come to Corrour to escape city life and to enjoy the natural wilderness. In keeping with this, none of our cottages have televisions or radios. There is Vodafone coverage, and Wifi is over a satellite link, free to all cottages visitors.
