We booked this stay based soley on three features, location, hot showers and wifi. But it was sooo much more. What a beautiful location, the views across the valley, the wonderful garden with all kind of fruit and flowers, the varied species of birds flitting about including hummingbirds. But this is getting off topic, how was the accomodation and the host? The accomodation was very spacious with a private living area, kitchen and multiple full bathrooms. I needed help in locating the property as airbnb shows location as dead centre in town (if you click wrong link) and so reached out to Ildefonso, he replied immiediately with a link to exact location (which I would have had if I had clicked correct airbnb link anyway). We did communicate a few more times as airbnb makes you put ETA when booking and thats not possible to know. Ildefonso always replied promptly. Even though I dont speak Spanish and Ildefonsos English is limited, he was a wealth of knowledge about local and regional things. We had to occasionaly rely on google translate some to get true meaning across, but dont be scared off if you dont speak Spanish. We were lucky enough to share a meal with the family and it was the best Colombian food we have had.
