Beautiful location, so peaceful and stunning views. The house is enormous, loads of space and seating. The sauna is a great addition. The beach is amazing, a wee river crossing to get there (fine to cross barefoot), and quiet with good swimming options... well worth the effort. The house was super clean too. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms are clean and whilst a bit dated are absolutely fine. Would recommend bringing a few extras - washing detergent, kitchen supplies (oil, salt/pepper) and soaps - as these are not provided. Along with some books, games and so on. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

House is perfect, modern and clean! Everything's equiped and ready for me! Spacious garden with pretty decorations. Thanks for the Christmas Tree. We really have a nice time!

We had the most wonderful stay here. Arriving on a November evening, in the dark, we anticipated having to warm the house up for an hour or two - far from it, it was so warm and cosy the moment we stepped inside. Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable. On the first morning we were able to appreciate its location - it is remote and luckily we had come well equipped with all the basics, plus a good stock of food. There is a local store about 4 or 5 miles away, it was closed on our first full day - a Sunday, so a definite is to make sure you have your essentials. We found the house had everything we needed, all in good order. The washing machine, dish washer, hot water and heating all worked perfectly. All the utensils were supplied. As other people mention, some aspects are a little dated, the shower for example. However, this was not a real problem. This depends on your expectations. The location, the warm cosy feeling and everything working as it should, no complaints from us at all. I would wholly recommend if you want escape into a remote location, albeit with amenities available not too far away. You'll see beautiful views, wildlife and great places to explore within a small radius.
