This is the place to stay in Harpers Ferry. It's immersed in Lower Town. Because of the narrow historic street the check in and unloading is positively zany. It's a great place.

The Town's Inn is a great place to stay in Harpers Ferry. The people of the Inn take good care of their guests and the house is full of history. We really enjoyed the calm atmosphere without TV. There are only a few guests at a time so you never feel anonymous.

Perfect location for exploring Harpers Ferry and getting to the C&O trail. Beautiful, unique village in a national park that is built into the mountain. Karan was a great communicator. Parking and checkin were clearly communicated- take the time to read instructions as it's in a National Park. Mountain View room does not have a view however other common areas do. Sound travels in the space upstairs. We were visiting in March and it snowed. No restaurants were open in the evening. We were able to get dry, trail- style snacks from the in house store.

You can't beat the location! The house is truly historic and quaint. Karan (the owner) sent very detailed instructions about parking, location and checking in, though we were a bit confused about parking/checking in from our own user error; be sure to read the instructions carefully. We stayed in the Mountain View room; note that while there is a private bathroom, it's on a different floor, which is a little inconvenient. Also, there is no TV in the room (though that wasn't something we were looking for anyhow). Lastly, this is a very old house, so ceilings are low and sound travels!
