The house is stylish and very nicely renovated with a fantastic bathroom, great shower, cool furniture and lots of lovely touches, Angela has obviously put lots of work into it. Unfortunately it was very hot and humid when we stayed and without fans, insect screens on the windows or aircon, it was hard to sleep. I'm sure it would work better in cooler weather or with a couple of fans.

Angela has created a very special place to stay in Kohukohu and has passionately restored the old bank managers residence to as close as possible its original condition, with modern luxuries to boot. Angela is also very generous and allowed us to enjoy some of the ample fruit and vegetables growing in the cottages large garden and was also very informative and took us on a guided tour of the town which i strongly recommend. We stayed 3 days and had a fantastic insight into the history of Kohukohu and also met many colorful locals at the nearby pub. Will definitely stay again and recommend that you do as well! It's my second time staying at Angela's place. Angela is a very friendly and considerable host. Her place is as beautiful as how it's shown in the pictures. Highly recommend it to other guests!

Great place to explore the Hokianga region. We loved it. A very special house and garden. Enjoyed having access to a few herbs and lemons too.
