Terrakot-a 10,000 sq ft farmhouse in a 20 acres mango and cashew farm. Fragrant rice fields, musical chirping of birds, morning warmth of the rising sun piercing through the mountains and the serene music of the river bed will transform all your worries of the urban belt into a calm state of mind and give you one of the most “soul satisfying” experiences. The natural blanket of stars in the night will help you meditate into deep sleep. Come and fall in love with this pollution-free escapade! An architectural piece de resistance! nestled in acres of mango n cashew plantation. 10,000 sq ft of free space to walk, play n run within the house and 20 acres around the house. Swim in an infinity pool, or bask in the natural waters of a river, or get lost in the wonders of books! There are close to 40 varieties of birds, including hornbills, in these parts. Since we are far away from restaurants, or a large town, we take pride in providing farm to table meal concepts. It is mandatory to take meals at the house during the stay. This additional cost is 1500 per adult per day (breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner). The meals will be cooked in the local style, to provide guests with an earthy experience.

Terrakot is an architectural marvel. It is great for people looking to cut off and have a relaxed & rejuvenating experience with nature. It is the middle of nature, with all the necessary amenities. Small trails, river shore for a dip, and the mountain range giving a spectacular sunrise view! Food was the highlight, with special local cuisine. Seasonal items were thoughtfully included, eg. Gulpoli, Ukdiche Modak. The staff was extremely warm and helpful at all times, yet not intrusive. The swimming pool was well maintained. We had a memorable family time thanks to Ashwini and her ever so hospitable team.
Had the pleasure of spending 1 night and 2 days at 'TerraKot Farmhouse'. Definitely, one of my most grand homestay experience. Great view, Great Place & Great Service !!! A huge hall, 3 bedrooms with attached balconies, a small Library; a valley-facing deck, swimming pool, open area to enjoy breakfast and nice walking/hiking spots. In short, a bit for everyone. The view from the deck was the highlight of the place for me. The local delicacies prepared by the warm locals with fresh and organic vegetables made the experience even better. It was a true "farm to table" experience !! All said, dont expect a 5 star property; expect an occasional visitor (like a lizard-spider); Wear & tear due to environmental elements are visible (on door/windows); Also be prepared to be intimidated by the Silence & darkness of nature. Truly A GEM of a place in the middle of nowhere, waiting to be explored. Thanks Ashwini for the hosting us. Hoping to visit again for another mesmerizing experience !!

TerraKot is located in Kot village- famously known for Rani Laxmi Bai's ancestral household after her marriage. The village is a quaint village, that has recenltly come under highlight for the Petrogylyphs that have been discovered. The nearest hamlet to TerraKot is 500 meters away.
Parking is open and within premises. To navigate around the 20 acres farm, one is required to walk around with the staff. The river access/ visit to the Petroglyphs too is by walk. Visit to the nearest beach or further sites will require travel by a vehicle.

A house of his dreams, to be shared by his family and friends; and to find peace and solace from everyday trials. He wanted this house to resound with the laughter of his children, their children and loved ones.
