Meagan was always helpful and even walked us to the nearby grocery store the first day. We initially had some issues with the AC shutting off at night because of the eco-control but Damain and Meagan were very quick to correct the situation. Once they made the corrections it worked perfectly.

I recommend but relax your expectations a bit. Pros: The house is very comfortable and nicely kept. It matches the photograph. Very clean. Host is responsive and the housekeeper is nearby. Neighbors are also friendly. Great seafood at the restaurant about 5 minutes out. Neighborhood seems very safe. Parked on the street overnight with no issues. Cons: parking on the property will be challenge if you have a larger vehicle like a pickup. Parking is on the street for one of the units. The pool is small more suited for group is 3. Pool is shared with the other apartment luckily we were the only ones there at the time - watch out for bugs, ants etc. we encountered centipedes in the pool on 2 occasions and ants always inside. Neighborhood is more rural than expected and not very quiet. The beach nearby is public on the main road. Private beach is about 15 minutes drive. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms which would have helped when the AC auto shuts off at night.

This is the perfect home to stay at if you want to visit or stay in Jamaica neighbors are very friendly the host and care giver are amazing and tend to you whenever you need help or have any questions I recommend this one to everyone ! I would stay here everytime it’s perfect

Beautiful house with great housekeeper and the nearby fish restaurant is incredibly good. I would recommend and book again.

Host was excellent, keeping in touch asking if we needed anything. As it happened the wifi decided to go on holiday one morning, it was back up when we got home… the place is spacious & clean. Like anywhere in Jamaica, bringing some bug spray or electric bug mats is a good idea… If you don’t hv your own car you will need transport to get around (the local route taxis is possible but prob not for the faint hearted) Damain will be able to sort this out for you to save you getting ripped off. The neighbourhood is very amusing. The neighbours hv goats which made me laugh every day, the obligatory cockerel wanders around & the usual pips of taxi horns in the morning when they come round seeing if people need a ride to go to work. There’s a little shop next door, they’re quick to tell you they’re open for business… FYI beers are $1 each in the supermarket. Dad felt sorry for her and bought 3 beers at $5 each only realising a few days later that that was quite cheeky as that is restaurant prices. Jamaicans are shrewd and will be quick to ask for what they think you will pay! Still, this has nothing to do with the Airbnb host and we took it as part of the local holiday experience :)
