Great value for money. Peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle. The property is as described by Sharmistha. Room for improvement: 1) couch in the living room needs to be re-upholstered and 2) towels are old and stained - need to get them changed.
Beautiful airbnb with three very spacious rooms, two balconies overlooking the mountains and a cute tree house. bathrooms were beautifully designed.
If you are looking to visit the hills for a break from the city life, this is the place to be in Kasauli. Extremely peaceful locality with no disturbances at all. The place is beautifully designed with minimal stuff just for your basic needs and that is what we loved about the house. The house tends to be very cold during winters so pack your winter clothes well. There are small heaters in all rooms, however the bigger ones don’t work due to voltage. The house help Seema ji is one of the kindest persons you will ever meet and she cooks lip smacking food both veg and non veg. Do try her for at least one meal during your stay. The only negative about the place is a very small steep ascent for parking. We had two cars and both struggled to get to the top because the path is not cemented and the tyres kept skidding for both of them. It was a huge tedious task to get the cars up and down. I would kindly request the owner to get the road cemented which will help the tyres grip.
Hi Devyani/ Sharmishtha, our stay at Pinewood Sunrise was unforgettable. And I say this with good reason. It felt like a beautiful 'home away from home'. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Seema, the caretaker took really good care of us. She was polite and helped us with everything. She also cooked some delicious dishes for us. It's a great property and Seema keeps it spic and span. I loved how you described it so well and how you were thoughtful about tiny details. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Please tell Seema we loved her cooking.
