Filomena was a great host and she met us at the apartment to show us around at check in. This was extremely helpful and easy for us to understand. The home was very well kept and matched the description of what we were expecting. Thank you for your hospitality!

Filomena’s apartment was beautiful and in a great location for our family (2 adults and 2 kids)- a 10 minute walk from the train station and five minutes to the beautiful old town streets. The apartment was a little hard to find because the entrance to the apartment is actually around the corner on another street. The actual apartment was very clean and the balcony had a beautiful view of the sea. It is located above a noisy street - the deeper sleepers in our family had no problems but the noise did wake up the lighter sleepers in our family. Overall a great apartment!

Der Aufenthalt bei Filomena war im Großen und Ganzen sehr schön. Die Wohnung sieht genau aus, wie auf den Bildern. Sie war super gelegen, ganz zentral zu Strand, Fußgängerzone und Bahnhof. Leider geht mit so einer zentralen Lage natürlich etwas Lärm einher. Das hatten vorherige Gäste auch schon geschrieben, aber eigentlich schlafen wir immer gut, so dass wir dachten, dass es kein Problem sei. Es war allerdings schon ziemlich grenzwertig. Mit Ohrstöpseln ging es dann aber. ☺️ Was gut war: es gab sogar eine Waschmaschine, auch wenn das bei der Beschreibung durchgestrichen war. 👍🏻 Die Wohnung wirkte größer als auf den Bildern. Das war toll! Sie ist tatsächlich schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war alles da, was man brauchte. Ein paar kleine Dinge könnte man mal austauschen, aber das ist nur Kleinkram. Filomena hat sogar Kaffee bereit gestellt. Vielen Dank dafür! Danke Filomena, dass wir Deine Gäste sein durften. Alles Liebe für Dich.

The apartment is pretty old and located in a very busy and noisy area; some of us didn’t have any problem sleeping, but others didn’t sleep so well due to the noise. The cleaning of the place can be improved, as we found that there was dust and hair near the mattress in one of the bedrooms, signs that they weren’t clean very well for a while. Also, the coverlet in the other bedroom had stains on it; didn’t feel very well covering ourselves with it when sleeping. The mattresses were missing a protective sheet. The air conditioning in the bathroom which was supposed to warm the room wasn’t working and we weren’t informed before check in about this. We’d have felt much better received if there was a welcoming basket upon arrival, as other airbnbs offer it. On the other hand, Filomena and her husband were very thoughtful and guided as towards a parking space. It’s okay to spend one night here only.
