No fault of the host we got lost driving to the location. The host was responsive and guided us to the cabin.

I can't say enough good things about this cabin!!! The location is amazing, back a long drive (seems like it's own road) with super cool long horns along the way but literally 7 miles from all there is to do in Shipshewana. Brooke touched base with me about check in and I told her we would be arriving late so she let me know she would go over an turn on the outside lights for us which was super helpful when we arrived. She gave me a whole list of places to eat when I asked for suggestions. Highly recommend the gathering place for breakfast!!! We were too full to even eat lunch that afternoon. The cabin is perfect for a couple get a way, a girls weekend, or just an amazing place to spend the night. The price is crazy affordable for how beautiful the cabin is. I've paid way more for bad hotels. I am so glad I found the Cabin for my husbands and I's 22nd anniversary get a way trip. We're already looking at concerts at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center so we can come back!!

This cabin was WAY more than we hoped for. We stayed here for our weekend away to celebrate our anniversary. The pictures absolutely didn’t do this cabin justice. It’s phenomenal. Our time doubled as a spiritual retreat and the cabin was extremely conducive to that kind of environment and experience. Brooke’s description even mentioned that there aren’t extra blankets in the house which was helpful since we were spending quite a bit of time there in chilly early March. The pellet stove kept the place warm and we cozied up in the living room with our blankets and books. I even finished a book that was in the master bedroom! The master bedroom mattress is quite firm, but my husband enjoyed it. I opted to sleep on a softer full size mattress in the loft. It got a little warm but I used the box fan that was provided and slept wonderfully. Even the rain on the metal roof made for a great night’s sleep. This is such a phenomenal place and I hope to return soon!
