Wonderful, as ever. Janet was very accommodating so that I could have maximum time at Beach Haven. A lovely short break. And my first dip in the sea in October!

Wonderful to return. Like coming home. I couldn’t have been luckier with the weather…. Heatwave. Early morning swim then In and out of the sea all day. The house is in such a stunning location with everything you need. Fish at the Lazy Shack is brilliant. It’s simply wonderful. And Janet is a wonderful host..

Janet's house is lovely. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, everthing you would want for a stay by the sea. The rooms are large and airy, the ensuite bathroom is an added bonus. The well equipped kitchen was clean and tidy with all the appliances you may need. Having things like foil and clingfilm, salt, pepper etc was great. It felt like a real home from home. Of course the fabulous sea view was the icing on the cake! Even when the weather was bad, the sea was amazing to watch as it crashed onto the beach. Who needs TV with an everchanging view of the sea. Beach Haven is only 10 mins walk from the centre of Hythe where you will find a number of restaurants, coffee shops, and many other small shops. There is also a Sainsburys and Waitrose within a 10 minute walk. We loved the location which was quiet despite being on the sea front. The beach was literally 10 paces away. I would highly recommend Janet's place.
