Great apartment with everything that's needed for a quiet, peaceful vacation. Located steps from an excellent beach.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in one of RoseMarie's apartments. RoseMarie is a great host, she is always available with any questions you might have. The place is a 5 minute walk from what we consider the best beach in Antigua. The apartment is in a quite area and the space is very comfortable. We absolutely recommend RoseMarie's place the next time you travel to Antigua.

RoseMarie was a terrific host. She was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our entire trip, providing very clear check-in instructions and promptly answering a few of our questions.

The apartment is very well kept with a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely big bed, dining table, couch and a balcony with a table & chairs. Could benefit from a mosquito net over the bed. Ffryes beach is beautiful and largely unspoiled. The walk to the beach is quick (3 minutes), but along unpaved roads (or across a building site) so can be muddy when it has rained. There's loads of space, barely anyone there, crystal-clear waters, pristine sand, trees for shade... really gorgeous. There are two beach bars (restaurants) - Dennis, at the North end, is a five minute walk from the apartment and is open from 10am 'til late every day. It serves good food and a good range of vegetarian options, though we didn't find anything particularly special. The other bar is on the beach and seems to open at random - the one time it was open at the right time we got some remarkably good, remarkably cheap lobster. Great for watching the sunset. Both are quiet - there's pretty much no noise on the beach or at night. There are lots of hummingbirds buzzing about the lovely gardens around the apartment. There's some building work going on at the moment (Feb 2019). It's not especially intrusive but does spoil the view from the apartment somewhat, and means we didn't want to sit out on the balcony during the day. I'm guessing it'll be carrying well in to the summer at least. It doesn't affect enjoyment of the bars or the beach. There's a supermarket less than 10 minutes away by car, really convenient. Quiet roads.
