Lovely location, perfect for a family of 4 or 5. Heather and Greg very responsive to any needs. Good internet. I would suggest stocking up with food and drink in Marsh Harbour before you arrive, as there are no stores in Little Harbour. Pete's Pub just a short walk away - very good lunch & dinner. Beach & boating just a short walk away. would definitely recommend!

This rustic little beach cottage is surprisingly large inside with high ceilings and lots of windows to bring in the island sun, and includes a wrap-around deck that faces the Atlantic. It is quite private, back off the street, and screened from most neighbors' view. It is as close as you can get to the beach on the Atlantic side of the island, which means you'll be waking each day to the stunning sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. This is a rustic cottage, with only solar/battery power and cistern water, so be prepared to be conservative with power and water. Bring your own drinking water. You'll be making coffee on an old school percolator on the stove-top. There is no WiFi or TV and sketchy cell signal, so be prepared to be off the grid. There are 3 single beds off the main open living area with new mattresses, and one double bed in its own separate room. Most of the windows have screens to keep out the insects, and they provide coils to burn to keep them away at night. There is nothing like falling asleep to the peaceful sound of waves crashing. Although on the East side of the island, this place is a very short 5 minute walk to Pete's Pub, Little Harbour's "hot spot" beach bar and restaurant. Pete's serves lunch and dinner and has a full bar. Food is fresh and great-tasting! (Try the Wahu and Conch!) You can loose your shoes while you're here, and the kids can dip their feet in the water a few feet away. The cell service is also better at the pub, although there is still no WiFi. And, by all means, don't miss the gallery and gift shop next to the pub, where you'll find souvenir clothing, jewelry crafted by local artisans and bronze sculptures made a stone's throw away in the only foundry in the islands. If you're lucky, you'll be there on a day they are pouring and can watch the process.
