Mary was very friendly and respectful of our privacy. The room was as advertised with high quality bed linen. The unit was close to a lovely cafe: the Nook for breakfast. The unit was setup so that we could come and go without any interruption. It was a quiet room and we had a great sleep

Mary's place is easy to access, immaculately clean and the bathroom is new and private. It was quiet and the bed was comfy. I was a solo traveller and it suited me perfectly. Very close to shops and cafes to eat meals and well located to get down to the beaches and explore.

Advertised as an ‘escape’ but when looking to lay in a little (past 8am) on the Saturday, I was woken by a lot of noise and shouting between the host and their family right outside the connecting door to the house so ended up cancelling the rest of my stay as it made me feel quite uncomfortable and anxious. Great if you are looking to sleep and leave very early the next day as it is a clean space with a comfy bed but wasn’t a great experience for me when it came to needing R&R and a place to relax. Communication on the issue with Mary was fast but no apology made for the noise and was just told Saturdays are a busy morning for them. Would not stay here again

Clean, tidy, private room with ensuite. We really enjoyed our stay. Easy check-in, good communication. 5 stars!
