Every year my mom and I do a Mother’s Day getaway to spend time together…. This is our favorite place we have stayed yet! Beautiful surroundings! The pictures don’t do it justice. Very comfy bed, and great big hot shower. Every morning we enjoyed spending on the porch, drinking coffee and listening to the beautiful nature. Very close to homestead heritage, and not too far at all from downtown Waco. We got to meet Chuck right before we left, who gave us our privacy for the weekend, but made sure we enjoyed our stay. If you are looking to travel to the Waco area, this is definitely the place you want to stay!! Hope to come back again someday!

My wife & I had a very relaxing stay at this location! Charles was extremely great at responding and even let us check in early at the last minute. The place was clean and the location is very peaceful. The shower is top-notch, along with the back porch views. The only thing we would have changed is the comfort of the bed mattress. Thanks, Charles, for opening your space to us!!

Exactly how I wanted to spend my birthday! Shopping and eating in the heart of Waco doing all things Magnolia during the day, and a private and peaceful place to spend the nights surrounded by nature. Chuck is an amazing host and his place is even better than the description. The perfect stay!

Husband & I stayed here for 4 days and are already missing the serenity! This spot is a perfect distance from downtown Waco to visit shops and restaurants but come back to a quiet place and relax. We loved sitting on the patio with a drink & good book while enjoying the sounds of nature! Everything was clean & easy to use. Chuck was a great host and nearby if we needed anything. Can’t recommend enough!
