Es uno de los mejores lugares en los que hemos estado. Aunque algo difícil de llegar, precisamente porque está algo retirado de la ciudad más cercana (Cotacachi), es un lugar esplendido para pasar en familia, sobre todo si te gusta la tranquilidad y el aire puro y además no hallarse lejos de la mayoría de servicios. La case está en perfectas condicioens, es muy acogedora y de hermosa arquitectura. Se destaca la limpieza de la casa y lo espacioso y bello del jardín. Luis es un excelente anfitrión. Seguro volveremos!

Luis took very good care of us in our almost 3 month stay at his place. He was very attentive, anytime we needed something he was super responsive. The home is nice, comfortable, and beautiful and was very clean. We especially appreciated the king bed. The internet is also fast - something like 70+ mbps in the downstairs. It did not reach the upstairs. I think in close to 3 months we had a couple days where it wasn't stable, but mostly the speed was reliably good. The garden in the back was probably our favorite part. Hummingbirds and flowers galore. Lots of love there. We thought the location was great for us. It's about a 30-minute walk to town, but there are taxis that drive by along the way if you don't want to walk or it's raining. And it's mostly flat with a very gradual incline in a few parts. The views from the house of the mountain and countryside are lovely and it's a very calm spot. Highly recommended - we'll definitely consider returning here.

Luis made us feel so welcome by introducing us to his lovely wife and their children! This was heartwarming! He even lit the fire for us and dropped extra wood off! I mentioned the wonderful childhood memory I had of the smell of eucalyptus! He came a few minutes later with his wife and plucked a few branches for us to make an infusion! The daily walks downtown was a treat walking back up with the cows and the herders! Loved our most special stay on the land of these precious people❤️❤️❤️

We stayed for four weeks. Luis was prompt in replying to messages. Perfect host. Beautiful house and loved the country feel of the neighborhood. Main Cotacachi street is five minutes by car or 30 minutes walking distance. Everyone in town are friendly, helpful and polite. Central location to most important tourist sights. Luis provided wood for the fireplace. Beautiful flower garden. Definitely recommend this house. Felt like a home. We felt safe, and enjoyed our privacy.
