Bad Experience August 2019: We have been taking our children abroad for the last 18 years staying in apartments and by far this apartment has been the worst experience in that time, both from the owners regarding their deceit as well as the quality of the apartment. It started the night we arrived the apartment was not cleaned at all and we had to sleep in 103 the small apartment on the ground floor, the back door did not lock we placed an iron board against it. Listed below are some of the issues • The pictures on the advertised Airbnb site also did not match our apartment - they were a compilation of pictures for the two top apartments 101 and 102 put together by the landlord and therefore misrepresenting what one apartment looked like. • The apartment is advertised as air conditioned in fact only the bedrooms have air conditioning and the main room sitting area did not and got very hot. • Be aware although there is an oven in the advertised pictures it has been deactivated. You will not be able to cook. • The beds were very uncomfortable, lumpy and noisy, we had also asked for different pillows twice however they were never changed. • The apartment was absolutely plagued with ants every day, we had to buy our own Ant Powder as the owners never gave us any even though we asked. • We had to request a hook to hang the shower as there was not one when we arrived after a threw days a screw came loose and we again had to hold the shower over our heads. • The main bedroom with the double bed does not have a chest of draws or a wardrobe so for the two weeks our clothes were hanging over a clothes rail. • We had previously contacted Lefteris the Host and asked if there was the use of a washing machine he said yes, you will arrive and be told you cannot use it in a very unfriendly tone. • There are some dangerous areas around the apartment which has broken glass edges and a power point hanging out of a wall with the wires showing.

Appartment 103DV not at all in accordance with published pictures. In fact, not a single picture depicts Apt 103DV. Despina Villa houses three two-bedroom apartments. Two large, 5 person appartments with balconies, upstairs. And the smaller, 4 person Apt 103DV on the ground floor. The 3 appartments make up the whole property and share one pool between them. Specific description of Apt 103DV should be provided as follows: Medium-size sitting room without air conditioning, very clean, simple style. Two medium-size bedrooms, with air conditioning, very clean, simple style. Poorly equipped kitchen (only 1 small pan & 1 over large casserole – mismatched dishes and cutlery). No coffee machine. Bathroom : low ceiling. Poorly drained shower and bathroom, with puddles building at the low points. Large mirror, damaged on all four sides. Rear terrace : small, unfurnished. Front terrace is the passageway used by the two other appartments to access the swimming pool. So privacy depends on the neighbors. View: sitting room and parents bedroom open on, and level with, the pool sunbeds. So quietness depends on the neighbors. Pool : clean, very pleasant. Amenities: A/C, Safe box, TV. Barbecue unusable (no grill, no equipment to make a fire). Size of Apt 103DV is about 40 m2, not 75 m2. The nearest beach is Agia-Marina. Contact with lessor: erratic. He/she okayed a late checkout in principle. But when we proposed a checkout time, He/she stopped answering. And the maid showed up at 9h30 am. He/she does not seem to understand we are disappointed by an appartment which does not match the internet description and pictures.
