We were travelling as two families so booked out both cottages. The cottages were comfortable & cosy, with good facilities and beautiful views over Loch Fyne. Restaurants, bars & shops are in easy walking distance, would definitely stay again.
The cottage was lovely & had everything you could need. It was very clean with comfy beds, pretty garden & log burner. The welcome gift was a nice surprise too. Views are just spectacular. Also Inveraray is a great base to visit the Highlands. However, the cottage fronts an ‘A’ road which I had no idea about before booking. It is quite noisy at times, esp early morning. More so in the week. Overall we enjoyed our stay apart from the road.
This cottage is the perfect getaway--right on the water, quiet, and peaceful. Neil was the best host--full of suggestions and instantly helpful. It is truly out of the way, so don't come here for the nightlife, but do come for a retreat.

Experience this historic and traditional town of Argyll, beautifully positioned overlooking the still waters of Loch Fyne. An excellent base for day tours within the Highlands & Islands. Established in 1745 by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, head of the powerful Clan Campbell, the town is an absolute set piece of Scottish Georgian architecture. Key buildings that are worth visiting include the neoclassical church, and Inveraray Jail and courthouse, now an award-winning museum that graphically recounts prison conditions from medieval times up until the 19th century.
