The house was beautiful! It was breezy and open and had so much space for the four of us. We miss it already! At night we all ran up to the rooftop deck to watch the sun go down and then star gaze. The views were amazing! The bathrooms were great! I loved showering with a view of the ocean! We could walk to a bakery in the morning and there was a local grocery store nearby which was all we needed. We loved the beaches and found some good restaurants. We had a car but there were local buses around. The house had three decks with views, one on each floor, with views of the ocean and a Piton! One of the best places we have ever stayed! It was perfect for our family of four. We were able to work remotely as the internet was great! It was a peaceful haven and the furniture was so comfortable! We spent a lot of the time just hanging out at the house as it was so relaxing! I slept better than at home! Nearby beaches were almost empty and beautiful! We loved it!

We had a lovely time staying at Sweet Breezes! The views cannot be beat and everything was clean and comfortable. We loved all the birds you can watch from the myriad decks! Overall really a stunning location. A few notes for those looking to rent: in general, Google Maps is not very helpful in St. Lucia. It will not tell you the right road to take to get to this house, so please read the host's instructions thoroughly. Also, the stove was rather weak so plan for cooking and boiling water to take longer than you expect. Tet Rouge across the way is a great place to eat dinner. You need to tell them to expect you and order ahead of time as they are a small operation.

Sweet Breeze is perfectly named! Its views and open air plans permit you to be immersed in this amazing environment. I can't say enough about how gorgeous this area is, how welcoming the people, and what an incredible base Sweet Breeze provides for exploring all there is to experience. Simon is an extremely responsive, friendly and proactive host, and his boots on the ground manager, Garvin, is equally exceptional. The home feels like your own tropical paradise home away from home - so welcoming and exceptionally well appointed, every detail has been anticipated. The outdoor porches and 3rd floor deck are unparalleled for beauty and comfort. The driving can be challenging and we would absolutely agree that 4WD is essential if you don't want to be limited in your range; if driving is not comfortable for you, taxis and private drivers are always easily arranged through Garvin or Simon.

As others have said, this is a gorgeous stay, with 3 levels of outdoor decks overlooking the ocean. The third level is rooftop, with two chaise lounges for watching the sun set over the ocean and star gazing. St Lucia is a little bit of Paradise. Driving can be a bit stressful on the roads - but there’s an easy answer: Garvin can recommend drivers as well as local guides. We hiked both Gros Piton and a beautiful train in the Rain Forest. I’d highly recommend staying at Sweet Breezes and look forward to return in the future!

Had a good stay at Simon's place. The house has a very unique architecture with 3 different levels each with its own view. The top-level has commanding views of the ocean as well as a direct view of Gros Piton. There is no AC but each room as it's own fan and there generally is a good breeze coming off the ocean. But it's not quite as comfortable has having AC especially since the humidity is high on the island. Unfortunately getting to the house from the main road is a bit of an adventure. The road in some places has 8 inch dropoffs on both sides. The concrete only exists in 2 strips each about 2 feet wide. Hence you have to constantly be aware of where your tires are or else you end up falling off and possibly damaging your rental. I'm surprised that these dropoffs haven't been fixed but infrastructure is generally poor on St Lucia. Simon did recommend a 4x4 and now I know why. Lack of road maintenance requires it.
