absolutely gorgeous cabin nd land mrs Carole nd mr Jim were absolutely amazing host answered any and all questions we had no matter the time nd even provided potatoes from there garden for a delicious side for one if our dinners couldn't have asked for a better vacation place or host highly recommend this pleasefor sure plenty to do near by as well

A lovely oasis of peace and quiet in a wonderful environment. For us this was the getaway we were looking for. The cabin is located about half a mile downhill from the main house. Surrounded by beautiful tree, deer, hummingbirds (do not forget to fill the feeder at the gutter) and the cows, mules and sheep at the fence close-by. A nice walk (or drive, you'll be here by car) uphill and you have access to the oh so refreshing and comfortable salt water pool (with diving board) surrounded by the beautiful garden, play area and fields alongside the main house and cottage (the other rentable property). We are a family of 5 and the kids had a blast with the small playground, the animals, nature and of course the pool, which made this holiday not just super fun, but mostly gave the kids a steep improvement in swimming, diving and flips... which all yielded long sleeps. Carole and Jim and wonderful hosts, helpful and pleasant people to chat with and full of suggestion what to do in the surrounding areas. Definitely one return to!

Wonderful oasis, cozy yet spacious, extremely peaceful. Lots of land and space, great set up, private and beautiful. Kids loved watching all the animals, and adults enjoyed the bbq and fire. We’ll be back!

Such a beautiful place to spend a week out in the country! The property sits on a farm with donkeys, sheep, cows, and mules just a walk up the lane. We saw deer most mornings while we were having our coffee. There is a little deck to eat on, a lovely fire pit with firewood, and a covered outdoor space to grill. The kitchen is wonderful and very well stocked with everything you would need to cook during your stay. Carole and her husband are so welcoming and gracious!
