The best part of this trip was meeting Andrew and Maryanne’s dog, Rocco. Another highlight was the patio view and the relatively spacious living areas (the rooms are not huge by any means, but they have more than enough room compared to what I expected). All toiletries and items were laid out for us which was very nice. The house rules were simple. A big plus was the high speed internet! I was writing a big research paper for class so that came in handy. Something that caught me off-guard were all the numerous religious items. I was not bothered much because it is their home. But I’m also not very religious and it was a little weird to be sleeping under a Jesus painting. But overall, the hosts were 100% friendly, welcoming, and I wouldn’t mind visiting again.

What a great place to stay! 5 minute walk to train station, and 10 minute walk to downtown Downingtown! Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom is on the second floor, so there are stairs involved. Andy very kindly offered to carry my bag upstairs for me. I didn’t use the patio/fire pit, but it looked delightful. Easy parking right outside the front door.
