This is just such a special, beautiful property. From the moment we landed it provided the reset we needed as a family. Clean, cosy and comfortable, set in such a beautiful forested landscape, with spaces for the kids to play, in under 24 hours we felt totally refreshed and like we'd had a real break. The beds were super comfortable, with really nice linen, and while it took a little while to warm up, with the fire and heaters going we were warm and toasty in the winter cold. The only thing missing was the induction cooker, which meant the kitchenette wasn't as equipped as we hoped for self-catering, which also influenced my perspective on pricing. So just ensure that if you plan to cook, bring food that can be prepared in a microwave only. Our kids have already asked to return! ;-)

Overall the place was nice and cozy with beautiful interior decor. It was a short drive from the town centre and the check in process and instructions were easy to follow. The bed however was quite uncomfortable, made up of two very solid singles rather than a king, my partner and I were quite uncomfortable.
