Encantados con la casa, la piscina nos fascinó y los espacios muy cómodos, muy bien equipada. MiKayla fue un excelente host, muy comunicativa y atenta. Lo recomiendo, definitivamente volvería a ir.

This home is a lovely mix of modern meets jungle-style living. There are no neighbors close by so there are views of undisrupted, natural landscapes which stretch for miles, offering peaks of the ocean and even the statue of Jesus in the town of San Juan! Personally, I love natural light and the floor to ceiling windows that run the entire length of the living room and kitchen made the house feel open and airy. The house was clean and fresh and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom was comfortable and the AC was a nice break from the Nicaragua heat. Sunsets from the home are absolutely breathtaking. The open space that stretches from the pool to the mountains really makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere with nothing but the moon and stars to keep you company. Even though there is an isolated feel, the house is very secure and I felt very safe staying there. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone looking for a private get away while staying in San juan del sur.

Casa Azul was such a great house for us. We stayed a month and a half and had our sister visit during that time. We all loved the nature around and the space in the house. The pool was perfect to do laps and enjoy the beautiful weather. Very close to playa hermosa and a short drive to playa Remanso. You definitely need either a bike or a rugged car to stay here if you want to go in town or around San Juan del Sur as the path to the house from the main road is not paved. Mikayla was very responsive and accommodating during our stay. The cuidador Miguel was really nice and we would definitely come back anytime. Just keep in mind that this is Nicaragua so there are power outage frequently but thanks to the generator at the house this was not an issue.

Mikayla's place was beautiful, a nice quiet area just 15 minutes from town. I will definitely be coming back!
