The Villa was very nice and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. However, Catherine (Owner) was very difficult, unprofessional and rude to my friends and I. When we arrived at the villa, the shower head in one of the bathrooms was broken and lying on the edge of the bathtub. We did not think much about it and left it there. When we were leaving, the staff reported it to Catherine, and Catherine forced us to leave our deposit of 800 USD for her to replace the shower head. When we explained that we didn't even touch the shower head(let alone break it) and that leaving our 800 USD deposit for a single shower head was just ridiculous, she started to get really rude to us and said unconstructive stuff like "I own many villas, this is just one of my stupid villas" she also mentioned that if she cannot find a matching one she will replace all the showerheads in the villa which was just ridiculous... After a long argument, we agreed to leave 250 USD of the deposit for her to repair the shower head (since we acknowledge that it's partially our fault for not reporting the damage) When the shower head was subsequently repaired, I repeated the point that it was quite unfair for us to pay for something we didn't break. Again, she got defensive and rude and said it that we were "insane" for fighting with her over a 100 USD shower head (yes we eventually paid 100 USD for a showerhead...) To be honest, this is the first time I've experienced something like that. I also did not expect this from someone who owns multiple "stupid villas". For anyone who's looking to book this villa, make sure you report every single broken thing in the house or she might just use your money to upgrade some other object in the villa. You were warned.
