Nous avons passé un excellent petit séjour chez Bruno. La maison est accueillante et tous les petits ingrédients de base pour cuisiner sont à disposition. Accueil impeccable et attentionné avec des recommandations sur les environs. Barbizon est vraiment à visiter. Seul petit bémol, la maison sur une rue très passante donc c'est un peu bruyant en journée. Mais on oublie vite car le jardin est bien isolé de la route et enchanteur. Nous reviendrons sûrement !

Very comfortable. Barbizon is pleasant and would be very appealing to an art lover or a boulderer planning to climb at Apremont. A good boulangerie and épicerie are à 6-7 minute walk away. The forest is only another 6-7 minutes beyond that. Unfortunately. It was cold and rainy during our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the backyard, but in good weather I think it would be extremely pleasant. There is an adjacent road beyond a hedge, but traffic is light. Very quiet at night. There was a faint odor of cigarette smoke, which might be a concern for the very sensitive, but was no problem for us. Host was helpful and responded immediately to any questions. For US visitors, be sure to get instructions about how to lock the door! And maybe how to turn on the shower as well. I love European design, but don’t always find it intuitive.
