Our host Isabelle was very welcoming and we highly recommend staying at the cosy garden cottage for a unique experience. Ideally located in the village of Tanlay, with its impressive castle, we appreciated the beautiful period decoration and comfortable amenities. The garden is gorgeous and peaceful. A big thank you to Isabelle who really went out of her way to help us. We look forward to coming back one day to further explore the surroundings!

this is a very small apartment above a garage, which means it is hot in summer, unlike old French stone buildings. Do not expect to cook a real meal, the size of the kitchenette makes boiling an egg possible or heating up take-out, not more. The photo of the salon exaggerates its size, there is a lot of furniture and every surface covered in bric-a-brac. Some people love this, we did not. The wifi worked once for an hour during a 5 day stay. The swimming pool is above ground, fed by a hose, but refreshing in the heat, especially as there is no shower

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Ruhig und sehr schön im Stil des 19. Jahrhunderts eingerichtet. Auto für Unternehmungen notwendig. Erholsamer Urlaub.

Isabelle est une hôte très avenante. Nous avons directement été surpris par la grandeur du domaine, la propreté de notre logement et en plus quel cachet! Nous recommandons sans concessions!
