Overall, our stay was acceptable as we required something last minute and pet friendly. The hosts were generally responsive and there was clear effort to make guests feel welcome. The house itself was fairly old. It appears to be 3 small units next to each other instead of one big house, but this was not very clear in the ad, in the photos, and upon check in. We had all the rooms we needed and more, but the rooms themselves were of different quality. There was no AC in the main kitchen or main living room, and it was hot for several days! The bedrooms had decent AC, but some ACs were too small for the room. Our biggest issue was on the last evening/morning when the roof started leaking in several locations resulting in flooding in one of the units. There was a real risk of being electrocuted as the rain water was gushing out of an active ceiling light! The location is fairly inconvenient if you don’t have a car, but still manageable.

Responsive, helpful, thoughtful hosts. The house is roomy and clean The location is very central to UPLB with a lot of good cafes and restaurants. The Sunday ELBI Community Market is just around the corner. It offers such an array of delicious food at a very good price We have definitely enjoyed our stay

We spent Christmas here and it was wonderful through and through. It was clean and spacious - a treat to have found it a few days before Christmas eve. The old world charm was relaxing and nostalgic, and the host and caretaker's service and responsiveness were excellent. Already making plans to go back! Thank you to Beth, Aljon and their team for ensuring such a pleasant, unforgettable stay!
