Gabriella is an excellent host! She will give you excellent ideas for shopping and visiting. There also is an on-site caretaker and he is very helpful. When we had an issue he was prompt to fix it! The location is fantastic. I met one of my best friends there that is from Mexico so we needed a bigger house to fit our family and our friend. Plenty of space! We spent one night in Merida in a historic hotel, which I recommend. Coming back to the beach was a great idea! Download Whats App as that is easier for host to communicate by. I Highly recommend this place! Amazing!

It is not often that we stay in a place with it's own private beach just downstairs from the back garden that also has a pool. There were a few smaller issues with the house, but overall the experience was very good. The good includes: - Beachfront with a private beach - Pool - Washing machine and dryer (would be good to have instructions for how to use) - Kitchen with a 6 burner stove The not so good includes: - Hot water sometimes took a very long time to heat - Insects (mainly in the back near the pool but some inside) - Lots of glass cups and containers which were easy to break (would be good to have known prices for glass inventory before) Tips for others: - Top room is the best because it has it's own balcony and living room - Oven only burns from bottom so let it come to temp before using - Hot water works but takes a long time to reach from boiler - Couldn't find a rubbish bin so we left rubbish bags outside to be handled daily by the caretakers

Gabriela has a beautiful home, comfortable, spacious and secure. The views of the ocean and sunset were spectacular. The care takers were discreet, helpful and very willing to run errands. You need transportation to explore but local options are plentiful. During our visit (February) the beach was not usable due to excessive seaweed, possibly because of wind direction.

Thank you Gabriela for sharing your exquisite vacation home with us!❤️ You made both check in and check out easy and sent us many great local recommendations. The fact that you went of your way to obtain a charcoal bbq for our stay was greatly appreciated. The home is extremely spacious and beautifully designed. I believe it is Moderne Streamline architecture from the late 1940’s. The outside patio is huge and you are literally right on the Gulf of Mexico. The view of the pier both during the day and at night is incredible. We loved listening to the sound of the Ocean waves. You are able to walk the beach into Chicxulub but not to Progreso. It was a bonus being so close to the bus route, with easy and inexpensive access to both towns. What a value this home is! Having Isidro and his family on site is a real bonus. They are helpful when needed but never intrusive. We would not hesitate to return to this incredible home!

Cette maison était superbe. Spacieuse, bien entretenue et directement sur la plage. Grande entrée privée ayant une petite maison où Isidro et sa famille y habite. Ils s’occupent de la maison sans jamais être envahissant. En fait nous ne les voyons pratiquement jamais sauf en cas de besoin. Un peu loin du centre de Progreso pour y aller à pieds mais nous avions une voiture louée et ça se faisait très bien pour avoir accès aux épiceries ou restaurants. Gabriela nous a suggéré diverses activités et restaurants et elle était très réactive pour les communications. Pour l’épicerie, je suggère le Bodega Aurerra Progreso tout juste en sortant de la 261 en arrivant de Merida. Plus de choix et moins cher que le Super Aki.
