The home was even more beautiful in person and Max’s team was great! The chef’s food was delicious and I would definitely go back. Anytime I reached out to Max he was very responsive as well. The trip was well worth it!

This property would leave you breathless. It’s truly a work of art. My only minor complaints are in regards to the chef service. I wish we got to meet the chef (I also assumed they’d be cooking it on the property but it was delivered by the maid) the food was okay, and just make sure to turn off your lights at night to avoid bugs. I don’t know what the bug is called but it reminds me of a cockroach attracted to light. Left the light on in bathroom overnight and there was so many in the tub (the maid cleaned them out that morning)- the next night with no light there was none to be found! So that was good. Overall our stay was amazing and everyone had their own space. It was a great engagement trip and was too beautiful beyond words.

The place is wonderful. It is an ultra-modern house on a hill top with great views. The walk to the two beaches are quite a bit longer than expected. The walk to the private beach is quite an arduous walk of about 30 minutes. The walk to the public beach also takes about 20 minutes and is hilly. The pool is wonderful.

Malinche Palace was exceptional. It was comfortable, clean, clutter-free and there was enough space for all 11 of us. Daily housekeeping was a treat - who wants to be making beds when you’re on vacation? The kitchen was well-stocked with all the appliances. During our stay we only had a one or two issues, which were handled quickly and efficiently. Absolutely no complaints. We had the most amazing time. The sunset views were outstanding! Would love to visit again. Thank you Max and Julia!

Nice hosts and great facility. Great location and easy to access numerous trips/excursions. Would highly recommend the Malinche Palace for a stay in this region of Costa Rica.
