Lananai is located in the countryside of San Vito, south-eastern Sardinia. The relaxing blue rosemary DOUBLE ROOM welcomes guests in a quiet dimension. It is accessed through a private entrance and overlooks the garden. The bathroom is private and is equipped with toilet and shower, bathroom sponges, ecological soaps and hair dryer. The physical and spiritual rest is guaranteed by the absence of wi-fi, air conditioning and TV. A ceiling fan moves the air for pleasant comfort on summer days. Wi-fi zone available. The BREAKFAST, served in the shady loggia of the house, is an unusual journey of the taste of preamble to the adventures of the day. The property welcomes children from 12 years.

Lananai is a little paradise in the island. Such a peaceful place, an eden surrounded by nature. Carlo is a wonderful host and will do everything to make your stay unforgattable. I highly recommend this place for your next vacation in Sardegna.
Una Bella realtà immersa nella natura e nella pace. Carlo e Cristina sono stati di grande aiuto e ci hanno accolto con grande affabilità, è stato un vero piacere conoscerli. A Lananai Si percepisce un Clima molto disteso e familiare, le colazioni sono eccellenti, preparate con cura tutte le mattine utilizzando ingredienti freschi e locali. Davvero consigliato!
We (a family of three - two adults and 4 year old) decided to spend our entire week in Sardinia at Lananai and we are so happy we did! It was the perfect place to stay. The property and setting are absolutely beautiful - and amazingly peaceful. The bedroom and bathrooms were very comfortable and clean and we immediately felt at home. The kitchen and common areas were a fantastic bonus and we already miss having our breakfast on the beautiful terrace. We especially miss the special sweet treat that was provided every morning. In fact, the first thing our son did each morning was wake up and run into the kitchen to see what it was. Carlo and Cristina were the best hosts. They were always available but never intrusive. They are also very knowledgeable about the area and gave great tips on where to spend day, where to eat, where to buy fresh local breads and treats, etc. Most importantly, their tips were for local, non-touristy places. (We had one of the best meals of our lives at a local Agriturismo which Carlo recommended.) This information was invaluable to us! Moreover, Lananai is located near beautiful beaches (much closer than we expected actually) and there were many to choose from (we went to a different one everyday). All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Especially, if like us, you prefer staying away from the tourist crowds but still very convenient to what the area has to offer.
It was a wonderful stay in the countryside with great hospitality and a perfect room. The breakfast is very good and there is a surpris cake every morning. You can clearly see that Carlo and his wife took great effort in making this such a cosy place.
We had a wonderful stay at Lananai - we would like to come back. Lananai is a place for natural lovers and for those who are looking for a peaceful sleep. Carlo & Christina are great hosts and show an extraordinary eye for details in the design of this magnificent place. Tanks for everything!

Lananai is located in the lush valley of Monte Porceddus in south-eastern Sardinia, at the feet of the Park of the Sette Fratelli, a naturalistic oasis among the greenest and more fascinatin Sardinia has to offer. A triumph of nature: time-moulded rocks, canyons and gorges, rare animal species.
The surrounding hills are an invitation to naturalistic walks between the fragrant Mediterranean scrub.
In a few minutes you can reach the wild beaches of Feraxi, Colostrai, Cape Ferrat, Porto S'ilixi, Santa Giusta, Sant'Elmo, but also the more famous Costa Rei, Cala Pira, Villasimius. Beaches yet not exploited by mass tourism
In the heart of Ogliastra, the villages of Ulassai and Jerzu can be reached within an hour's drive. Ulassai is surrounded by a veritable natural spectacle. Its deep gorges and the characteristic rocky massifs called "Tacchi" are the ideal place for rock climbing and offer a breathtaking spectacle. Jerzu is famous for the production of Cannonau wine.
In Ulassai it is absolutely essential to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art "La Stazione dell'arte" that the Sardinian artist, Maria Lai, has left to her native country as her legacy.
To reach Lananai and be able to move independently you need to have a means of transport. Some naturalistic trails can also be reached on foot or by bike directly from Lananai.
