Lovely little space great for 2 people in a super central but quiet spot in Bridport. Stephen was super helpful and responsive.

We had a great stay at Stephen’s, so convenient to walk the town centre and he gave us some brilliant recommendations of places to eat and drink. Manoeuvring the car into parking was tricky at first with the old lane ways and the fact we had a large car, but in no time at all we mastered the art of it, so don’t be intimidated. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are large and very comfortable, the apartment warm when it’s so cold outside, and we were very grateful for the thoughtful biscuits, ground coffee, and French press provided to get us going in the morning! Loved the graphic prints of the local area that decorate the walls as well ❤️

Had a lovely stay. The accommodation had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen, and we really appreciated all the little Dorset touches, like the locally made tea bags and biscuits left out for us. It's within 5 mins walk of Bridport, and Stephen was a friendly, communicative host.

This was our second stay at Stephen’s Airbnb. There’s a lot we like about it. It’s very central, so all the shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and markets in lovely Bridport are easily accessible. The property itself is cosy and quirky. It has a metal circular staircase which may be a challenge for some but we think it adds character. There is a car space to the side of building. Access is tight but manageable. Stephen is a considerate host and is clear and helpful in his communication.

The Old Stable was a brilliant place to stay. It was perfectly located for exploring the various fossil beaches (we went to Lyme Regis, Charmouth and out to Kimmbridge Bay), as well as being close to lots of shops, pubs and restaurants (would highly recommend the Tortilla Cantina). The house was a cosy place, quiet and with everything you need and a lot of character. Perfect for a little getaway. Stephen was an excellent host who provided us with all the information we needed and was quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out was very simple. Our car is rather large so we chose to follow the advice given and park in the East Street car park but it was very close by and reasonably priced (and free overnight). If you are particularly tall (I'm 6'1) then you may need to tilt your head in the shower. Overall a fantastic stay, we would definitely come again!
