We had a great stay in one of the bungalows next to the river. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The communication with the host was easy and quick and check in was easy. The fire place in the main bedroom (where the shared living and dining area and kitchen is) came in very handy in winter. The location is great since it is near the Cango Caves as well as the must try restaurant-De Kombuys

Stunning place right on the river. Perfect location for going to see the Cango Caves. Loved the little jacuzzi bath on the deck. Family also enjoyed the supplied Jenga game. Dogs were friendly and reminded us of home.

We hadden een fijn verblijf op het prachtige domein! Jammer van de kakkerlakken in het huisje, maar hiervoor gaan ze behandelen.

While the overall experience in Oudtshoorn and the holiday spot was lovely, there were a few very important things that need attention/upkeep/adding: 1) Oven gloves. Only a very small finger silicone "glove" was provided & we had to make use of a hand towel. 2) Gas oven is very temperamental. The pilot light would go out constantly. 3) Jacuzzi - the plug is not the right fit, so the water slowly leaked out. Also the hot tap for the jacuzzi broken. 4) Light outside above the jacuzzi & sensor light remained on all night. Had to switch off at mains - shone in bedrooms otherwise. 5) No hairdryer provided as listed as included. Had to request. 6) Hiking trail - weather damage, not walkable past 800m. 7) Kayaking - pointless. Not more than 5mins of river to paddle up.
