It was a privilege to stay in Wandrille's apartment. It is a real home and felt like a home, attractive, comfortable, spacious, full of light, and blissfully quiet. The area is amazing, full of cafés, bars, restaurants, life. I recommend "Chartier" nearby. It is a no frills no reservations classic French restaurant with quality food and service, and ridiculously low prices. You will be spoiled for choice... From Wandrille's you can walk in 20 mins or less to the Place de la République, to the Opera, or to the Louvre... Wandrille is a splendid host, the most responsive I have ever dealt with, and easy going too... He enhances your stay... NB Some visitors with limited mobility should note there are 5 flights of stairs with no lift... The stairs are majestic, beautiful, but you may need time to negotiate them... A bigger challenge for me was the ladder/stairs to sleeping area... I'm not as young or nimble I was... I approached these steps always with caution...

Great central location to everything in Paris - for walking or for public transportation! Wandrille was always very responsive and helpful, and he gave great recommendations for things to do in Paris. You eventually get used to the 5 flights of stairs to the place, and it's a cute space to stay in.

Es war ein Wochenend Trip nach Paris. Kommunikation war super. Gegend aufjedenfall mit Auto und dem Verkehr schwierig (am besten mit Zug kommen oder in der Tiefgarage parken). 5 Etage ohne Aufzug war schon eine Kunst zu laufen 😂 aber Wohnung für 2 Personen reicht vollkommen aus. Klein und fein. Metro Station direkt in der Nähe der Wohnung. Man kommt gut überall hin mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.
