A beamed, cosy cottage with sea view from all rooms. Sleeps up to three with one double and one single bedroom upstairs along with the bathroom with shower over bath. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are all on the ground floor. A door from the lounge leads out to the private walled patio garden. A few steps from the garden gate is the large, enclosed guest paddock with sea view. The paddock has benches, picnic tables, a brick BBQ, dog agility equipment and croquet set available for use. Trenale Court Holiday Cottages has been running for more than 50 years. Many regulars enjoy staying in either their favourite cottage or mix and match to enjoy the uniqueness of every cottage. The cottages and local attractions suit couples, families, dog owners and walkers. The legend of King Arthur will interest history and mythology enthusiasts! An idyllic location in a quiet hamlet, with sea views and close proximity to Tintagel village and the coastline. Tintagel village, with its pubs and shops, is just a 15 minute stroll down the country lane. From the village, Tintagel castle and coastal path are a further 10 minute walk. Trebarwith Strand beach is only a few minutes drive away. In easy reach by car are tourist hotspots such as Boscastle, Port Isaac, Rock Beach and Padstow. Walkers can discover nearby hidden gems such as St Nectans Glen Waterfall, Rocky Valley and Bossiney Cove beach. Trenale Court Holiday Cottages are open all year. Short breaks can be arranged. Clare Kitts is the new owner of Trenale Court Holiday Cottages. She loves the coastal magic of Tintagel and the surrounding area and is passionate about providing an enjoyable Cornish holiday cottage experience. My husband and myself along with our dog stayed in Dovecot Cottage for 3 nights in June. The cottage has everything anyone could wish for. Clare has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing, including yummy biscuits and Cornish fudge along with treats for the dog. There is a beautiful paddock thats fully enclosed where we could let our dog off the lead, you can sit on one the lovely benches and watch the sunset over the sea. It is just perfect 🥰 We would love to return in the near future so the biggest thankyou to Clare for a lovely break away 😊 Xx
We had a lovely relaxing stay! The cottage was so peaceful with beautiful views out of every window. The cottage was so close to Tintagel so it was perfect if we needed to pop to the shops, the space was perfect and clean. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved our stay here, it is a gorgeous place the views are stunning. The host is very friendly and helpful. Area is nice and peaceful. Great walks around near the castle with amazing views. The paddock area is great especially if you have a dog. It is a perfect getaway if you are wanting a peaceful trip away. The port William restuarant is about a 10 min drive and is definitely worth going to amazing views really nice food and dog friendly. There is a beach about 10 min drive away although it is small and the tide is only low for a few hours a day, the closest beaches for walks are about a 30 min drive away. This was our first time in the area and we would come back.
Home from home. Dogs enjoyed the paddock to run around in. Very comfortable and would recommend. Dog treats and Easter chocolates a nice touch.
