The flat was amazing! Located in Lakeside yet away from all the busyness. In a quiet neighbourhood but 5-10mins walk to Lakeside. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The flat itself was amazing with good WIFI. The flat has AC/heating system + also fans in the rooms so you have options to keep yourself warm/cool depending on when you go. The host, Buddhi and his family are so lovely, who live on the ground floor, are always available to help out with anything you need. Simply ask and they will do their best to help out. To my surprise, I found out that Buddhi is also a trekking guide! So I decided to do several local hikes and a 5 day trek to Annapurna Basecamp (ABC)! What an adventure! My first ever trek and Buddhi is an amazing guide!! If you have never trekked before I would recommend do a day hike and a 2 day hike and then do the ABC trek! Truly a life changing experience for me and good company along the way with Buddhi who looked after me! Very kind and helpful man! Thank you Buddhi!

Buddhi and family are excellent hosts with great apartment. Easy communication, good English, responsive, friendly, helpful, lovely people. Checkin easy, family picked me up from bus park. Apartment has 2 bedrooms, dining area, clean bathroom with hot water, kitchen & small balcony. I mainly used kitchen for breakfast as I was out for lunch and/or dinner with local friends most days - but it was well equipped to cook meals with gas chulo (2 elements), rice cooker, basic cooking utensils, pots,pans, toaster, electric jug, fridge etc. filtered water. washing machine available to use on top floor, great mountain views. Excellent wifi, good for online working. Good location - few minutes walk to Jarebar Chowk, where can catch buses into main shopping area or Lakeside. Walking down road in opposite direction only 5-10 minutes walk to Basundhara Park/Damside, 15 mins to main lakeside. Many small grocery shops and eating places nearby. Friendly neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The apartment is cosy, functional, and spacious, and Buddhi's family are incredible - Binita even picked us up from Pokhara airport and Mina has been a huge help with lots of things. Anything that needed fixing was done within 24 hours, and we were invited to family daal bhaat downstairs :) The neighbourhood is perfect - quick walk to lakeside, but away from the tourist mayhem. Feels more like a normal residential area, which is what we prefer. Really love this apartment and family and really feel like home.

I enjoyed my stay at Buddhi Boutique. The family is wonderful and quickly fulfilled my every request. The location at first seemed a bit out of the way but I soon discovered that it is in a wonderful neighborhood of local homes and lots of shops and small family restaurants so all my needs were met close by. It is a quick walk down to the lake and to all spots using the back roads which are very interesting. I cooked every day in the kitchen and it served me well and the fridge is a standard size. Part of my stay at Buddhi's has been during the corona virus lock down and I have enjoyed the morning sun on the balcony and the 365 views from the rooftop. The nights are quiet and dark and I slept very well during my time at Buddhi Boutique and always felt safe and at home.

Fantastic place!!! Probably the cleanest space I have ever stayed (EVER). Very nice home. Everything you need is there. Plus much more. There is even a washing machine!!! Easy walking to restaurants or groceries to cook (full kitchen in apartment). Buddhi is a excellent host. He knows a great deal about the area and can arrange anything for you. Other guests from what I can gather tend to be long term (from abroad but working in Pokhara, maybe teaching) so it is a quiet space. Wonderful rooftop to look at the mountains. 5 min walk from lakeside or go opposite way and 5 min walk to hiking trails to mountain overlooking the lake. Apartment comes with table and chairs on a deck outside of apartment to eat watching the sunrise. One of my fav spaces I have stayed. I would definitely book again!
