Nasser is super friendly and responded quick to our messages. The outside area of the Guesthouse is very nice and quiet! Unfortunately the Guesthouse was full and he organised an other room for us, which was in a typical big Omani-hotel. Not as charming as the guesthouse and a little bit more outside of Nizwa, so be sure to have a look online first if you agree with the new place.

We had a good stay at this guesthouse located outside of Manah. The room was clean and the employee on the premises, Mahmud, did a great job. Although, the location on Airbnb is not accurate. It is actually located outside the town of Manah, near from the main road. It is called Ma‘mad Guest House on Google Maps. We had to text the owner to get the exact address on the day of arrival and it took a few hours to get the info. We also had to wait 20-30 minutes in the car before being able to check in since the owner did not inform us that Mahmud’s break was in the afternoon. You absolutely need a car to stay there since it is located far from the Nizwa city and restaurants. Finally we discovered during our stay that we paid way too much for the accommodation since it was available for almost half the price on other booking websites. At 16 OMR/night it would have been a good deal.

Nasser is a kind and welcoming host. He communicated with us promptly and told us in advance that his guest house had been booked. However, he quickly sorted it out by offering us another flat 3 kilometers away. The other flat was sparkling clean with modern facilities, free wifi and comfortable beds. The location was perfect as it was surrounded by supermarkets, restaurants and shops; all within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend Nasser as a host.
