Ruth's place was an amazing place to stay for our family. Firstly location - it was very easy to get to as it's right off the highway. Once you check in, your surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The actual tent was incredible and it comfortably fit my family. The play nook under the sleeping nook was also a fun addition for my young children. All of the utensils are barbeque facilities were clean and having the bbq right by our door to cook up our own dinner/breakfast was great as we were able to stay together. The other facilities and extras, such as the pool, tennis court and animal feeding were all great and well used by my family during our stay, and Donna was amazing with our children during the animal feeding. There's a lot of comments about noise from the highway but from our experience, it ended up being more like white noise than anything to worry about. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're a family travelling through.

We absolutely loved our farmstay with Ruth. Communication was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived in time for afternoon animal feeding and the kids had a wonderful time feeding the goats and chooks and saying hello to the horse, shetland pony and other animals. It was a hot day and we had a swim in the perfect pool, making friends with other families before enjoying a bbq dinner of local farm products and delicious bread and dips, and beer & wine from local wineries. The friendly goats kept us entertained from the deck of our safari tents and the kids happily ran around while we enjoyed a chat and drink together outside watching the sunset. The toys, cubby house, bunk beds and colouring books were a perfect touch to keep the kids entertained as well as more animal feeding in the morning. Can not recommend Ruth’s place enough for a perfect halfway point between Melbourne and Sydney/Canberra :)

Great stop over on our way to Melbourne. We stayed in the Glam Tents and loved our stay and morning introduction to the farm animals and the Grandchildren got to meet and feed all the animals.

The farm was great fun for the kids, they loved the goats! The safari tent was great fun, very clean and we loved the bacon and eggs provided for breakfast. Unfortunately, the sound of the trucks on the highway made sleep quite tricky.

Ruth was communicative and provided clear instructions on the directions and activities around the farm. Pru was amazing and ensured we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kids and adults all loved the animal feeding, and the eggs provided were SO FRESH we couldn’t help asking for more! It was wonderful waking up to goats grazing just outside the tents on the other side of the fence every morning, we couldn’t bear to check out after 2 nights. It was an amazing first farmstay for our family!
