We had a sensational stay at Lakes Edge over the last few days - the house was perfect for 5 couples & a few toddlers (comfy big beds & all rooms with ensuites was a huge plus), the location is excellent & the access to the lake from the property was so lovely, a really fantastic place to stay a little away from the hustle & bustle of Daylesford but close enough to get to everything you need. We spent most of our time on the balcony & in the lounge which were both spacious & comfortable, the extra touches like the gorgeous dining table being beautifully set as well as the local hamper full of goodies were wonderful & unexpected touches that further exceeded our expectations. The house is furnished beautifully, it was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well stocked with staples & so much surplus cutlery & dishes - honestly there’s nothing we could fault with the property, and we’re so looking forward to coming back to stay again soon!

We loved our stay at Lake's Edge. The hosts were helpful and responsive to messages. They provided discounts to local attractions. The house was gorgeous and in the perfect location. We loved waking up to views of the lakes each morning.

Lakes Edge is a beautiful home, in a beautiful location, with great ammenities. The presentation of this property was let down by stains on the carpet and furniture. One of the lovely chairs in the main lounge was worn with frayed fabric on the armrest. Overall, the cleanliness was a little disappointing. There were crumbs and lolly wrappers under the ottomans. The ottomans did not seem to have been moved when the house had been vacuumed. Also the attention to detail in the bathroom cleaning was lacking and the windows were not very clean. For the premium price we expected a higher standard of cleanliness. We had a lovely stay, but probably wouldn’t recommend this property to others based on the need for a deep steam-clean of the carpets, furniture and bathrooms.

Great place. Big with good bedrooms and clean bathrooms. A nice welcome hamper. Internet was not great on our stay but we managed. Well positioned and lovely outlooks to the Lake.
