环境特别好，推开房门就是海，每天可以看着海吃吃早餐喝喝饮料～晚上伴着海浪声入睡特别解压！服务人员也都特别热情周到友善！

房间外就是沙滩，可以享受海浪的声音，吃着早餐看海和冲浪，非常惬意。推荐！

Booked the property for a stay two months back. But when we checked in it was a wrong time because the restaurant and of the main attraction of the property - the shack cafe was closed as the owner gave his boys a leave for 5days for celebrating Sinhalese new year. But Baba was present as per the advice of the owner who made us feel right at home. Helped us with all the things. He even took extra care of us to book us a dinner for the night. The owner also helped us with good recommendations of restaurant and things to do over phone. Took care. The property is placed right beside the Indian ocean and it provides a lot of water sports activities to do. They have surfing options which is quite popular among the travellers and has a lot to offer. Good views from the room. The rooms matched the description given on the site. However missed the breakfast before checking out because of the closed restaurant as mentioned earlier though the cost was already included during the time of booking

Staying at The Shack was a brilliant experience. The beach is 10 ft from the door and the beach is comfortable, good waves, friendly locals and three lovely little beach dogs that live in the area. The only downside for me was that it could be loud. The music from the café started early and ends late, and this room is directly next door to the café main seating area, so you do get the music coming through the fan and into the room. As someone that struggles to get off to sleep in this environment, this was a bit of an impact on my trip. Finally, I can't say enough nice things about the staff, you immediately feel like you're part of the crew. The expats have made it a regular gathering spot with lots of travellers coming through and the staff treat everyone like they've been coming for years and John (Ben's business partner) called me after I checked out to hear from me about my time with them. See you again!
