Weybourne is a very pretty coastal village made up of flint cottages and set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has a shingle beach popular with fisherman, and from here you can join the coastal path and enjoy a wonderful three mile cliff-top walk to the Blue Flag sandy beach at Sheringham, or walk into beautiful Sheringham Park or Kelling Heath. The village is famous for the Muckleburgh Military Collection and Weybourne Station, a delightfully preserved Edwardian country station, which is a stopping point for the Poppyline steam trains than run between Holt and Sheringham throughout the year.
There is a popular pub serving very good food, a well-stocked village store and tea room. The Coasthopper bus service runs through the village on its travels between Kings Lynn and Cromer.
The popular Georgian town of Holt with its array of independent shops and galleries is just three miles inland. This area is a walker's paradise. The neighbouring coastal town of Sheringham can be reached via the coastal path, as can Cromer beyond. Sheringham Park (especially wonderful in the Spring when the azaleas are in full bloom), Kelling Heath and Muckleburgh Hill are on the doorstep and offer miles of interesting trails. Children will love the indoor pool at Sheringham and everyone will enjoy a ride on the Poppyline steam train which stops at Weybourne station on its way to and from Sheringham and Holt.
For National Trust lovers, in addition to Sheringham Park, you also have both Felbrigg Hall and Blicking Hall nearby.
