The gite is located next to the Chavelier Noir guesthouse (chambre d´hotes with a few chambers) but still quite private. It has great views over the surrounding countryside. The accommodation is well equipped (kitchen), with a good bed and comfortable bath room. The pool is shared with other guests but generally very quiet. Paul and Daniel are wonderful hosts: friendly, helpful and full of humour. Cordes is a beautiful old town, with plenty to offer.

Paul et Daniel sont très très accueillants, avec beaucoup de plaisir à discuter avec leurs hôtes. Le gîte est très confortable et dispose d' une sympathique terrasse sous un figuier, très agréable, ainsi que d'une piscine juste en bas du gîte. Le chevalier noir se situe aux portes de Cordes sur Ciel, les promenades à pieds sont possibles, Albi est à 25 minutes en voiture...Pour les visites ou autres découvertes, Paul et Daniel se feront un plaisir de donner des conseils.

From the moment we first contacted Paul and Daniel, and continuing after our stay, the promptness, accuracy and helpfulness of communication has been absolutely outstanding. Out initial questions about the town and area, when we were researching options were confidently answered; our day to day needs (recommended bars/restaurants, local attractions, activities etc) were all incredible; and throughout we were made to feel welcome and at home. The gite itself was spacious for 4, with a large living room, a well stocked kitchen and modern bathroom, all within a wonderfully characteristic style, with stone and wooden floors. We couldn't recommend the Chevalier Noir more highly!

Daniel and Paul wow !! Having been invited to a wedding in the local area we set about finding a retreat where we could relax and catch the sun before the big day. How lucky we were to find the Chevalier Noir Gite , attached to the hotel by the same name and with joint use of their wonderful pool . We could not fault our accommodation, the views were spectacular and you both were the perfect hosts . We will certainly be back and with no exaggeration will recommend it to everyone and anyone who wants to visit Cordes Sur Ciel !!!

Un accueil hors norme, Paul et Daniel nous ont permis de passer une semaine de rêve à Cordes-sur-Ciel. Nous recommandons ce gîte qui vous offre une vue à couper le souffle. N’hésitez pas à demander conseil à vos hôtes. Si c’est possible, Paul l’organisera pour vous et Daniel l’immortalisera en photo.
