We had a fabulous stay at Koggala Lakescape. The service was perfect and the food delicious. We had breakfast and dinner most days and we loved every meal, especially when it wasn’t raining and we could dine by the lake. Don and his staff are attentive and accommodating and so kind. And we loved Chuti, the pet Indian squirrel. And the monkeys, we could have watched them all day! The location on the lake is peaceful and quiet. The perfect foil to the craziness of the beach towns. It is off the beaten track, somewhat of a challenge to find and access, especially in our large van. But that’s what makes it special, away from the crowds but a short drive to great surf beaches and activities. I’d love to see it when the construction is complete. Should be spectacular! I would have liked more lounge chairs by the pool, there were only 3 for our family of 7. Beware it can be slippery when it rains. Small issues for a wonderful place. Highly recommend.

We honestly had one of our best holidays at Tari’s place! The house and grounds are beautiful, as is the view of Koggola lake. The house is situated very conveniently for local beaches, the elephant safari and also Galle - which is well worth a visit. Our stay was made 5* plus by Taris wonderful staff, particularly Don the house manager. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to make our stay truly magical and unforgettable - helping us organise trips, taking us to a local tea plantation, giving us cooking lessons, explaining local culture and just attending to our every wim!! The food was quite simply delicious and the attention to detail was remarkable. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone! I can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much team Tari!

We had an amazing time at the villa. Great place for a big company. Very clean and fresh rooms can easily accommodate 10 people. Great lounge zone with sofas for evening gatherings. Dinner and breakfast can be served on the outdoor terrace with incredible lake views. Very large area with hammocks and sunbeds by the pool. The pool is very clean. Special attention and thanks to the staff of the villa. Don and the team are very kind and always ready to help. We ordered bbq 2 times. It was very tasty. It takes about 5-7 minutes to go to Kabalana beach from the villa. This is one of the best beaches in the area. There are also many cool cafes in the area. Truly recommend this villa to everybody!

We rent the whole villa for a week. The place is amazing. The location is close to the kabalana beach with Rocks surf spot. On the other hand it is hidden from the main road so no noise bother you. The second important point is the service: each our desire was fulfilled. Highly recommend the place!

The villa is great all around with nice staff and great hospitality. Tari was very easy to communicate with and very helpful in coordinating our arrival and stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here for big groups. It's even nicer than the pictures and the lakeview is beautiful.
