If you're looking for a micro apartment in the middle of busy Cairo. This is it. It's special. Cosy. It's nice and clean. You've everything you need!! The roof top is absolutely gorgeous. If I have to say something then it's that the apartment isn't situated directly next to the rooftop (it's two small stairs away). For me this was a bit of a thing because I had a small child with me and I didn't want to leave the kid alone and ofc the kid slept early. So I didn't get to enjoy the view as much as I initially wanted but the times I did totally made up for it. Gorgeous! I would definitely recommend the apartment to others and I would also stay here again. It's a cool experience. Doqqi is also a nice starting place to explore Cairo if you want to experience the 'real' Cairo. Plus you've everything you need nearby. From supermarkets, to restaurants. And let me just say it again: that view. The doorman is super friendly and helpful and Mohamed is also easy to communicate with and very clear. I wanted to stay a bit longer after checkout and this wasn't a problem at all. Thank you so much for everything!

First I would like to start off by saying the location of this studio is perfect. Second, I had to leave early and spend extra money at a different hotel because of the horrid stay I had here. The moment I entered the small studio is was MUCH smaller than what the photos had perceived. The air within the apartment was terrible and kept me up all night coughing, hacking and sneezing. my daughter also felt the same effects. Even when washing and cleaning the air conditioning filter it did absolutely nothing. Not to mention as I was sleeping ants were constantly crawling onto the bed and on the first night me and my daughter killed at least 20 ants crawling onto our pillows and on us. In contrary, the noise from the city below was terribly loud and kept us up all night. The owner offered to take us on his boat in hopes of fixing the situation, but personally the best things is to address the issue for future guests. Overall, my stay at this apartment was not was I had expected and left me to leave the first night there.

The Airbnb has a great location in the center of Cairo. The rooftop view is incredible. We could see the Nile and the busy streets of the city. It was hard to find for me at first, but the host was very helpful and replied fast so I could find it. The apartment is clean but a little bit small in my opinion. Thank you for letting us stay at your place!
