Ideal location next to a subway station - HKU. Getting to and from the apartment could not be easier. Check-in at the security desk is a breeze. The apartment is near the top of the building, so the views of Hong Kong are amazing. Harrod was incredibly prompt in responding to any questions I had. I would be happy to stay here again.

Harrod's place was wonderful and perfect for my stay! It's clean, well equipped, the view of the harbour is incredible and with the location being so close to HKU and the metro, it's very convenient to get around. Harrod was very helpful and provided useful information, I'd definitely recommend this place and I'd certainly return if I ever come back to this beautiful city!

In einem Satz zusammengefasst, kann ich Harrods Unterkunft nur so beschreiben: Was für ein Ausblick! Die Fotos lügen nicht - es ist tatsächlich so! Bei schönem Wetter ohne Dunst sieht man bis auf's andere Ende des Victoria Harbours - ein Traum mit diesem Blick in der Früh aufzuwachen bzw. aufzustehen! Zu den anderen Einzelheiten: Dank eines guten, bebilderten Guides war es nicht schwer zu Harrods Wohnung zu finden. Klar, dieses befindet sich in einer etwas hügeligeren Gegend, aber mit einem Koffer mit Rollen sollte das kein Problem sein bzw. hat Harrod ihre Wegbeschreibung bewusst so gewählt, dass man bei der Anreise zwar ein Stück weiter gehen muss (circa 10 Minuten hab ich inklusive Suchen gebraucht), dafür geht's aber immer bergab! Die Lage der Wohnung ist vorzüglich: auch bei späterer Ankunft hat der nahegelegene McDonald's noch offen gehabt bzw. befindet sich daneben auch ein kleiner Seven-Eleven Convenient Store, um sich ein paar Überbrückungsmahlzeiten zu organisieren. Kommt man früher an, gibt es dort - wohl Uni-Nähe-bedingt - auch zahlreiche Cafes, Restaurants usw. - toll! Die Ausstattung der Wohnung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Angefangen bei der Badewanne über die gut ausgetattete Küche bzw. der Waschmaschine ist alles da. Was ich noch erwähnen will, ist, dass der kleine Balkon sehr gemütlich ist bzw. dass das Bett auf den Fotos eher wackelig aussieht, in Wirklichkeit aber sehr, wirklich sehr stabil und mega-gemütlich (dezent weich) ist! Ich selber bin eher in der Schwergewichtsklasse angesiedelt - also auch für "unleichte" Gäste ist das Bett wunderbar geeignet. Ansonsten? Mhm. Die Wohnungsgröße ist für Hongkong'sche Verhältnisse groß, für europäische eher klein - dies war aber zu erwarten bzw. bei dem Nächtigungspreis nur fair. Die Wohnung selber ist toll ausgestattet und in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Harrod selbst stand mir sowohl vor, als auch während und auch nach der Reise stets helfend zur Seite, wofür ich mich noch einmal extra bedanken will! Von mir jedenfalls die volle Bewertung, weil total zufrieden! ------- If I would have to summarize my stay at Harrod's place I'd say the following: What an incredible view! The photos don't lie - it's really exactly as beautiful as shown on the AirBnB page! When there's clear weather you can see across the whole Harbour - a dream to wake up in the morning, seeing all those boats, the skyscrapers and so forth (not to mention how beautiful the same view looks like at night as well! :-)) About the other things: Thanks due to a good and picture-based written guide is was not difficult for me to find Harrod's flat. Of course it's located in a hill-side area but with a roll-able suitcase there shouldn't be a problem at all to get to her flat. At least it wasn't one for me. And if you follow exactly Harrod's directions everything works like a breeze - no uphill carrying of your luggage, it's just a 10-minutes, easy-going walk to reach her flat. In general the location of her flat is very nice and practical: I arrived very late but the nearby McDonald's was still open as was the Seven-Eleven-Convenient store that was right next to the fastfood restaurant. If you arrive earlier there are also many cafes and restaurants located in the area. Nothing to worry about for the hungry traveller :-) The flat itself is nicely equipped as well: there's a nice bathtub, a small kitchen to cook a few things and a washing machine too (didn't test the latter one though). One more thing to mention is that the small balcony of the flat is a very nice one and that Harrod's bed might look a bit unstable on her pics but in the end it was a very, very, very comfy place to sleep at and one that wasn't unstable at all - even for a heavy guy as I am (and I'm very critical about beds too!). Beside that: the flat's size is quite big for a Hong Kong one. Not too big but not to small either and reasonably priced for the location and the view. The flat was also in a very good shape and very clean. About Harrod I also can only say good words. No matter if it was about her answering all my worries and questions in a very sincere, reliable and detailed way before I began my journey to Hong Kong or while I was staying there. She remained very helpful - even after me leaving the flat :-) All in all I had a very good time staying at her place and I would definetely come back for another visit! Five Stars for sure!

Very nice place with an amazing view. The building is new, the location is perfect, very close to the metro and the city center. The cleanliness could be better and more towels could be useful especially if you spend more than 2 days. Harrod is very nice, helpful and very responsive. I definitely recommend it.
