John was extraordinary when it came to communication. Regardless of how small the concern, John ensured that our stay was going to be peaceful and relaxing. It was a pleasure to work with him for our stay. We'll look forward to booking again next ski season!

This was our second stay at John's place, which is very cozy and perfect for our ski trip. It was a nice place to come home to after a long day of cross country skiing, make dinner and relax. I hope it will be available for our next trip!

We enjoyed our stay!! It was just what was ordered to relax after long days caring for a family member. John was not only a wonderful host, he was kind and caring of our circumstances. If your looking for a comfortable home to stay in this is the place. We had everything needed. I had grown up in the area and you will find access to a variety of activities and food! We will be staying again!!

Great location, everything we wanted/needed + washer/dryer, owner was quick to respond, easy check-in. Great for 2 female friends, would work for up to 5? people if you don't mind sharing spaces & the larger bed or sleeping on the couch or in the same room as another person. This house/cabin was perfect to have a home base for exploring the area from the western Lake Superior shoreline to Northern Wisconsin around Copper Falls (about an hour drive in each direction), and waterfalls & trails in between. The house itself was warm, clean, plenty of hot water, and exactly as pictured. Nice sized bathroom. It's a house in the country so maybe expect a small house spider. No broken lamps/dirty shades... it was a comfortable home away from home. We ate twice at The Pines Cafe in Ironwood just over the UP border due to the nice atmosphere, selection of food & great service. Thank you, John, for sharing this home.
