Had the best of times out there at the cabin! Although buddy and Willy run the show, Bill and Angela are amazing hosts we stayed for a few nights and still not able to do as much as we wanted!! Definitely will be back again soon!
Bill and Angela's place was wonderful. Just the peaceful serene atmosphere that I was hoping for. The only thing that disappointed me was that I had to leave. It's the sort of spot that anyone that loves fishing, hiking and fresh country air can fall in love with and never want to leave. I will certainly be recommending them to my friends and family, and I hope to have a chance to return soon.
It was a delightful stay at their place! Willy the Chicken Cat and Buddy were fun to hang out with. I will note that cell service and wifi are lacking, but if you're looking for a great place to disconnect from all that this is a great fit
We loved staying at Bill and Angela's place. They gave very clear instructions on how to get there and were very responsive to questions, both through the app and in person. The house and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Bill was incredibly helpful and kind enough to answer a lot of questions we had not related to our stay. Even the animals were friendly lol. If you need a place to go to relax and quiet your mind, this is definitely the place to be. Even my preteen enjoyed the time away from hustle and bustle. My only regret was that we had to move on to the next leg of our trip and couldn't stay longer. We will absolutely try to stay again.
If you are looking for a place to disconnect, and get back to nature with friends and family- this is your place! The fishing was amazing (my husband, our friends and our 2.5 year old stayed by the lake all day! )And our little boy LOVED their amazing cat Willie, and of course their chickens! And our 3 dogs also had a blast, bill was very friendly so very helpful! Thank you for opening your home and property up to us, and our friends for a much needed break from the day to day stresses! ♥️♥️

We are older but still are very active and we have a lot of life to live............and the retirement savings are not enough, so we got this idea! WE LIVE IN ONE OF THE MOST NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL AREAS IN MISSOURI!!!!..............why not share it with others !! THIS IS OUR RETIREMENT PLAN!! And it is working! We have had more activity than We ever imagined we would, and we think its fun!! We love hosting and meeting people from all over....and We love sharing with others this place We get to live! It is important to us that our guests have the best experience possible. Relax, slow down, listen to the quiet..watch the birds, have fun, take it easy, hang out on the dock, walk a trail, fish, sit around the fire pit.. Enjoy it as we do..
