The place is actually run by a organization named 'Eco Agri Uganda' and was built by volunteers from overseas. Robert wasn't around when we were there, so I can't comment on him. We had phone calls with Josephine, one of their managers and on site was their bookkeeper and an elderly man who took care of the place. We got a warm welcome. The hosts/staff are friendly and very interested, so be prepared to answer a lot of questions. The huts are actually very nice, they are built from sand bags filled with soil. The huts are filled with pebbles for a floor, which feels pleasant. You can also order food. We had tasty fish for dinner. The meal sizes are opulent, so keep that in mind when ordering. Be aware that the location on Airbnb (even the one you see after booking) isn't the one of the actual accomodation. We found it impossible to find by car even with description, so it seems best to have one of Eco Agris staff sent out to a meeting point and guide you there. Also note that if you're multiple guests, the Airbnb listing won't reflect the real price, but the price for one bed only, regardless for how how many guests you book. You'll be charged additional accomodation fees on site, on top of your Airbnb payment. Eco Agri claims that 'it's impossible to enter prices for multiple guests'.
