Elena's flat was perfect for a few days in Bologna. Easy walk to the city centre and all the tourist areas. It felt a very safe neighbourhood. The flat itself was cosy but plenty spacious enough. It was absolutely spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped. We chose to eat out, but we could easily have cooked. Elena is charming, so friendly and helpful. She met us outside the building, showed us around and went through a map so we could find everything. As the Marconi Express was out of action and we had had to use a bus replacement, she arranged a taxi for us to return to the airport which was really helpful. All in all, I would definitely recommend Elena's apartment to anyone for a great stay in Bologna.

Wow, Elena is right up there as one of the best hosts I have ever experienced on Airbnb. She is the perfect combination of warmth, charisma and professionalism. Her apartment was spotless and precisely as advertised. She met us on arrival, was flexible with check in and provided clear instructions for everything in the property. We felt very satisfied and safe from the moment we had the place to ourselves. If that wasn’t enough, Elena provided lots of excellent recommendations for both sight seeing and restaurants. We went to three of the places she recommended to eat and they were all fantastic. We wholeheartedly recommend booking Elena’s apartment if you would like a lovely city break in Bologna! Elena was an amazing host. Accidentally locked ourselves out and she responded and opened our place for us in minutes. Also was able to hold our luggage after checkout before our train ride. Also provided map and gave some food and sightseeing tips. Location is a short walk to attractions. But also very close to playground (with small carousel!) which was great for the kids!

Fantastic location as well as very clean and charming. We stayed for 4 nights and met up with Elena for check-in where she gave us, first-timers to Bologna , lots of good info and recommendations. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
