This retired American Literature teacher was IN HEAVEN actually staying in Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald’s home! Lots of memorabilia in our suite, and the museum downstairs was a real treat. What a fun experience!

Great location, 30+ minute walk to downtown attractions. Neighborhood is diverse with interesting homes. Good access to nearby shops, dining and markets. Historic house is unusual and downstairs museum is worthwhile. Apartment is not modern and is not for everyone, yet host provides a good and honest description. Apt is clean and kitchen/eqpt are sufficient for simple food preparation. Overall an interesting stay and good value.

Amazing gem to be able to stay in a historical home of the author of the Great Gatsby- in the top ten of all time read novels. So peaceful, serene and magical. To go back in time and imagine life in the 1920’s-30’s. Such a unique place to stay - steeped in history and mementos.

This was one of two apartments located above the Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald Museum. Don't miss the museum tour! Alaina is a Fitzgerald scholar and is a font of knowledge. I'm a retired English teacher, and the day we stayed was my birthday, so I couldn't have been more thrilled. The house is old and funky (in a good way), and decorated with Fitzgerald memorabilia. It's a quiet and peaceful respite from the crowds at the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. That said, don't miss the National Memorial. The visual impact is profound, sobering, and memorable. Go early or late to avoid the crowds. We ate my birthday dinner at Central Restaurant downtown and the chicken and dumplings were outstanding! All in all, if you're a Fitzgerald fan - this place is for you!
